Our Process
We’re not like the other guys…
Each MaineFlame firelog is carefully made in our retrofitted sawmill by fine folks in Ashland, Maine, using nothing but tree debris from timber harvesting operations, a one-of-a-kind process designed by a Mainer and some serious elbow grease.
We figured out how to make a 35,000 BTU firelog without any added junk. So not only do our moisture-resistent firelogs burn cleaner, they start easier.
Other firelog manufacturers will use wax and chemical additives to have their firelog burn longer or start easier. We figured out how to do that without all the added junk.
